HOW DOES GRP ROOFING WORK?
GRP roofing has been around since the 1940’s and was originally invented for boats with more recent applications extending to water tanks, ponds, roofs and even lorries!
It works by starting with a layer of resin applied to dry roof decking. Fibreglass matting is then used followed by another layer of resin to reinforce. Once that has set and cured a fire retardant topcoat resin Is applied – which gives you a weatherproof finish that will last up to 25 years with good maintenance and care.
